Dear George, We had a fabulous tour with David. His car was perfect for us (very comfortable, clean and good temp). Driving was perfect. He was very knowledgeable about everything we toured. Good day, My wife and went to see Stonehenge Christmas week while staying in Somerset. We had the good fortune to have Sebastian as our guide. Besides being one of the nicest people his tour was equal parts informative, interesting and entertaining. He had great relationships with the staff onsite and other guides who clearly liked him very much. He was very professional but also friendly and his knowledge of Stonehenge and the surrounding areas was astounding, there was a great balance of letting us soak in this special place but also explain all of the history and theories of Stonehenge. George, I wanted to take a few minutes to say thank you to you - and to Will - for a wonderful private tour of Stonehenge. It was a 5* experience and I don't have anything but positive comments Will is a lovely guide and person, well-traveled and experienced and a pleasure to spend the 10+ hours with. He arrived early for the pickup and that theme of courtesy and willingness continued throughout the day as for example, he was engaging of my boys (9 and 7), he made sure we were perfectly positioned to get good coach seats, took multiple photos for us to preserve memories and so on. Will completely knowledgeable and passionate about Stonehenge and English heritage and history in general - as an Irishman, that's a complex topic for me and he was interested in my perspective. I will absolutely remember the 5 key points he endorsed as the ones relevant to the creation and unique features of Stonehenge . Luck plays a part - and we were blessed with a sunny, cloud-free morning (the first of our week-long vacation, if I recall correctly) - and my close-call choice of Windsor Castle over Hampton Court Palace was perfect as my wife found that to be a perfect complement to round out the tour (if in doubt, remember that Americans love castles!). I provided Will with thanks and appreciation - but wanted to - and promised to - send on this glowing thank you as well. Having lived in London for 10 years and never visited Stonehenge, I now feel like I've corrected a 'wrong', have a great appreciation for it - and will surely endorse it to others. John… I just wanted to give you some feedback after our day with David. What a fantastic experience we had! I can’t rave enough about him. He became our friend, who just so happens to be an expert in everything we wanted to experience. From his ‘inside’ knowledge at Stonehenge, to his handy bag full of visual aids, to his knowledge of British History, to the white horses he had carved into the mountainsides special for us, to his reasonable sense of humor…this guy is an asset to your company.
