There can’t be many legends more famous than those of King Arthur and his knights of the round table. While the details remain shrouded in mystery, many scholars are convinced there really was an individual called Arthur who fought the invading Germanic Anglo-Saxons in the late 400s AD. Beyond that we only have clues to his existence, but this mysterious warrior is certainly a legend in our hearts.

The legends of King Arthur have long been shrouded in mystery and tales of the Knights of the Round Table, the wizard Merlin and tragic lovers Guinevere and Lancelot have charmed people for centuries. Did Camelot really exist, who was the Lady in the Lake and did Arthur really pull Excalibur from the stone?

Why Small Groups
Our King Arthur tours operate with a maximum group size of just 18, we keep the experience and enjoyment both as individual and as personal as possible. Please note: certain popular tours may use midi coaches.

Typically, a group consists of half couples or friends and half individuals traveling alone. Our tours attract people of all ages, backgrounds and nationalities but all united in a desire to break away from regimented, impersonal big coach tours.

Small groups are environmentally more friendly and their effect less disruptive to local communities. It also means you get the chance to get away from crowded tourist haunts, taking scenic back roads to places you may not have heard of, but wouldn't want to miss!

Small groups leave fewer footprints.
